Baltimore Police on Thursday issued an arrest warrant for the man who was captured on video attacking opposing fans after a Ravens game.

After Baltimore’s game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, 24-year-old John Callis was recorded walking down the 1000 block of South Charles Street. As the video begins, Callis is seen approaching a pair of Commanders fans in an aggressive manner. As the fans walk toward him, one of them tries to get between them to de-escalate the situation. Callis then kicked one of them as the other still tried to break up the fight. His attempt was again unsuccessful as Callis punched the man he had just kicked, sending him to the ground. After that, Callis directed his attention to the man who tried to stop the fight and wrestled him to the ground. He then got up and backed away while flexing his arm to the camera.

“I don’t lose!” Callis said while high-fiving the man holding the camera.

Social media quickly identified Callis and even found his employer, Baltimore-based insurance company Maury Donnelly & Par, Inc. According to a report from FOX 5 in Washington, D.C., the company confirmed he was no longer employed there. The network also discovered that Callis was previously charged with second-degree assault for a 2021 incident involving a police officer. He pleaded not guilty was placed on probation.

For the most recent incident involving the Commanders fans, Callis has been charged with first-degree aggravated assault and three counts of second-degree assault.
