Trump Cracks Up Hosts By Explaining Why He’s ‘Not Underestimating’ Biden At Debate
Former President Donald Trump drew laughs from the All In Podcast hosts when he explained why he’s “not underestimating” President Joe Biden going into the debate.
President Biden and Trump are set to debate on June 27 in the earliest general election presidential matchup ever. During Trump’s losing 2020 campaign, he debated Biden twice and got trounced in post-debate polls while creating memorable moments like “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by” and exposing everyone at the second debate to COVID.
Trump refused to participate in the third debate, claiming he did not want to appear virtually.
Trump was a guest on this week’s edition of the millionaire-and-billionaire-hosted All In Podcast and appeared to try to manage expectations when he was asked for a prediction — by citing Biden’s VP debate with Paul Ryan in 2012.
He drew laughs with his account of the Ryan debate and abandoned his thought after bringing up the last debate:
HOST: You have a prediction for the debate next week? What’s going to happen?
DONALD TRUMP: Well, all I can say is this. I watched him with Paul Ryan and he destroyed Paul Ryan!
Paul Ryan with the water. He was chugging water at a left and right.
(CO-HOST GIGGLES).
I didn’t think a human being would be able to drink so much water at one time!
(CO-HOSTS LAUGH).
And he beat Paul Ryan, so I’m not underestimating him. I’m not underestimating him. It is what it is. We’ll see what happens.
But you take a look at the last one.
I happen to think he’s incompetent for a lot of reasons. I think he’s incompetent because he has gotten the worst policies, both foreign policy and internal policy.
I mean, who would not want to have a wall? Who wants have millions of people pouring in? Who wants to have high taxes? You know, taxes are going to raise by four times if this guy has his way.
