David Duke Praises Julian Assange, Goes on Nightlong Celebration of Trump’s Win
David Duke, the former Ku Klux Klan leader and current Donald Trump fan, is letting everyone know that he couldn’t be happier with how the election turned out.
For many months, Duke has advocated for Trump while also calling the mogul’s rise the alt-right’s political takeover. Now that Trump has become the President-Elect, Duke took to Twitter to brag about his preferred candidate’s stunning win:

Of particular note was that Duke called WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange a “hero.” This is most likely for Assange’s role in the steady release of problematic emails that were hacked from Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta.

Trump and his campaign have denounced Duke repeatedly (with some hesitation on the mogul’s part), but Duke never stopped supporting him and drawing attention to their white nationalist tendencies.
