‘What Just Happened?!’ Stunned MSNBC Host Nicolle Wallace Rolls Back Clip of JD Vance Calling Kamala Harris ‘Trash’ THREE TIMES
MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace rolled back a viral clip of former President Donald Trump’s running mate Senator JD Vance (R-OH) referring to Vice President Kamala Harris as “trash” three times, declaring the moment “lights out” for his campaign.
During the campaign’s final rally of the 2024 campaign in Newtown, Pennsylvania, on Monday night Vance told attendees: “In two days, we are going to take out the trash in Washington, D.C., and the trash is named Kamala Harris.”
Interrupting analysis with her panelists, Wallace said: “JD Vance just doubled down on ‘trash’… I haven’t seen this yet. Let’s play this.” The clip played.
“Oh, my god. Can I see that again? Can we play that again?” Wallace reacted.
The clip rolled back again, but Wallace asked: “Forgive me. One more time.” Producers played back the comment one more time.
Wallace, stunned, said: “In my humble view, lights out. Women, you can disagree with us. We’ve actually learned to take it for our whole careers all the time in every forum. But you call us trash? Oh. Oh, JD Vance. You just effed up in a way I’ve never seen in my political life, and I worked for Sarah Palin. What just happened?”
Actress Rosie Perez, who was also on Wallace’s panel, echoed the sentiment, pointing to widespread anger among women across various demographics: “The disrespect towards women needs to stop. He insulted a lot of people.”
