Fox News Anchor Trashes GOP’s Biden Probe: ‘They Just Keep Doing the Same Hearing Over and Over’

Fox News anchor Dana Perino was unimpressed by the GOP-led impeachment hearings of President Joe Biden while introducing the latest round during Wednesday’s broadcast on America’s Newsroom.

“A couple things here. Hunter Biden popped into our ears. What? Two months ago. Was it there? Like Hunter Biden is on Capitol Hill? We’re like, what?! Then they took the live shot,” began co-anchor Bill Hemmer.

“Abby Lowell calls it all a carnival sideshow. But remember that question there, what Jason said, what Republicans are trying to show, is that there are no services rendered for the money that came in. And that’s a big part of what this hearing is about,” Hemmer added, introducing the day’s hearing.

Perino, a former Bush White House press secretary, then jumped in, adding, “At the end of this week, Congress is due to go into recess for another two weeks. And I do think that in some ways, it just feels like they keep doing the same hearing over and over again. And people are starting to wonder at some point, do you fish or cut bait and do something about a vote or not and move on to the general election?”

The Republicans’ investigation into President Biden has left many in conservative media questioning where is the hard evidence. On Wednesday, Newsmax’s Rob Finnerty pressed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) hard on whether or not the investigation has produced any hard evidence of corruption. Finnerty went so far as to note “it kind of seems like you’re chasing your tail at this point because this is not going to go anywhere.”

Jordan was a dealt a major setback in recent weeks as the key whistleblower he had long touted as central to his allegations of corruption was indicted by the DOJ for lying to officials and admitted to prosecutors that the information he passed on to House Republicans came from Russian intelligence.
