MAGA-Clad Woman Tries to Convince Interviewer the US Government Controlled the Hurricanes to Hurt Trump

The absurd and baseless conspiracy that the US Government is controlling the weather as a political operation captured in the wild by The Good Liars.

The bonkers assertion most recently came to light when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene posited that “they” control the weather. This led to a rebuke from President Joe Biden and even a “fact check” defending FEMA from a North Carolina Republican member of Congress, Rep. Chuck Edwards.

Lest you think it’s such a dumb idea that it cannot take root, the people behind The Good Liars interviewed individuals waiting in line for a Trump rally and were able to record an interview with a woman clad in MAGA gear trying her very best to convince her interviewer that her baseless assertion, impossibly, had merit.

The Good Liars posted the video on social media with a message that read, “Talked to a woman who believes the US government is controlling hurricanes to hurt Donald Trujmp’s chances in the 2024 election,” which is an accurate description of the video.

“Why would a country want to have a hurricane and be strong and hit its own country?”  the woman was asked.

She replied “Because they want to control certain places. And if you’re looking at where the hurricane’s going, it’s a lot of red states. If you’re looking at the counties in North Carolina that were hit, there were all of them. 26 out of 28 of those counties were for Trump. They’re doing whatever they can because they can’t rig the election.”

GOOD LIARS: You’re implying that the government made a hurricane stronger to hurt its own country, the United States of America.

MAGA WOMAN: Correct.

GOOD LIARS: And what would be the gain of that?

MAGA WOMAN: When, if you, if like, there have been people out there, if they have an Alexa, I don’t know if you’ve heard that, and they’ve asked what caused Milton. You can go on there now. It’s already predicted the number of deaths and the amount of time it’s already predicted it. You and a Google. It won’t do that. If you ask it about Helene, it’ll tell you the government actively used seed clouding. This is before Helene even happened.
