Naturally, the surprise move led to a lot of questions online. It seemed everyone agreed on one thing in particular: why would the Bucks fire a 30-13 coach?

According to Wojnarowski, however, the reality is actually much simpler. Although the team has one of the league’s best records, the team has looked shaky at times while it continues to develop chemistry between stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

In short, the organization expected the team to be better than it currently is. With the goal being to win another NBA championship, they felt it was best to move on from Griffin.
