‘That’s Bullshit!’ Tim Walz Shreds Trump for Pretending to ‘Understand’ the Working Class

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) ripped Donald Trump at a campaign event on Thursday for pretending to “understand” the working class.

During a Thursday rally in North Carolina, Walz told his supporters that Trump does “not give a damn” whether he receives a Social Security check and does not understand the struggles of the average working American.

Walz also said that claims Trump understands the needs of voters are “bullshit” while mocking the GOP nominee for “sitting down in Mar-A-Lago” and telling “your rich friends you’re rich as hell, I’m gonna give you a tax cut.”

Later, Walz apologized to the audience for his use of foul language to attack the former president:

I’m going to be generous. We are all products of our past. When you grow up a middle-class kid in Oakland or in Butte, Nebraska, you care about Social Security. You care about these things. When you’re sitting down in Mar-a-Lago, and you tell your rich friends, “You’re rich as hell, I’m gonna give you a tax cut.”

It doesn’t matter to him. And you know what? When my mom looked for that Social Security deposit to be made in her bank account, that’s how she’s going to feed herself. That’s how she’s going to get things done. He doesn’t give a damn if his Social Security check comes or not. So let’s be very clear. If any of our relatives or anyone gives us this, if they tell us, Well, Donald Trump understands us, that’s bullshit. He does not understand you. He does not understand you. Look, you know it. All right for the little ones here. I’m a teacher. I’m sorry about that.
