‘Garbage Human Being’: Tommy Tuberville Hits New Low in Political Attack of Joe Biden

“Joe Biden is a garbage human being,” according to Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), who tweeted those words on Tuesday.
Tuberville’s tweet was sent after the testimony of former Special Counsel Robert Hur regarding his findings on President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents. A point of contention was Hur’s assessment of Biden’s “poor memory,” including a claim that Biden did not remember when his son Beau Biden died. Biden lashed out to the press following the release of the report, saying, “How in the hell dare he raise that?”
And Tommy Tuberville didn’t like that. He retweeted the clip of Biden from his February 8 press conference with his own opinion of the president:

Tuberville sent this from what appears to be his personal Twitter/X account rather than his official Senate account.
Hur’s claim that Biden did not remember when his son died was partially refuted by the full transcript of the two-day interview conducted in October 2023, as was Biden’s claim that Hur brought up the subject to begin with.
According to the text, Biden was the one who brought up Beau’s death after Hur brought up the book Biden wrote about Beau’s death, Promise Me, Dad. During the conversation, Biden knew the date of Beau’s death — May 30 — and was supplied with the year — 2015 — by another staffer. Biden then asked, “Was it 2015 when he died?”
Hur also expressed sympathy during their conversation, telling Biden, “Just allow me to say for a moment, I am so terribly, terribly sorry for your loss.”
