Democrat National Convention attendees on Wednesday night were shown a new ad featuring “unearthed” footage from the Capitol riot on Jan. 6.

The ad compiled the footage with various sound bites and clips of Donald Trump speaking to protestors before they stormed the Capitol.

“And after this, we’re gonna walk down and I’ll be there with you,” Trump said. “We’re gonna talk down to the Capitol… because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong.”

The ad then showed a clip of protestors walking toward the Capitol while chanting, “We love Trump.” A sound bite from a police transmission revealed one officer saying, “Cruiser Fifty, it does look like we’re gonna have an ad hoc march. Stepping off here. There’s a crowd surge heading east.”

Seconds later, the screen went black as text appeared.

“After his speech, Donald Trump returned to the White House,” the text read, “where he watched the television for over three hours, while thousands of his supporters violently attacked the Capitol.”

The four-minute ad continued with more footage of rioters breaking into the Capitol. Police body cam footage revealed on officer telling another, “We can’t hold this. We’re gonna get too many fucking people.” In another sound bite, an officer said, “Look at this vantage point, man. We’re fucked,” as a sea of people gathered outside the Capitol.

It ended with a list of the charges Trump faces for his role in the riot.

“If re-elected,” the ad read, “he will never be held accountable.”
