Trump Ally Goes Nuclear on Clay Travis, Calls It ‘Disgraceful’ Limbaugh’s Time Slot Went to Long-Time Democratic Voter
Trump ally Laura Loomer went nuclear on OutKick founder and right-wing radio host Clay Travis on Wednesday, declaring that he “should NEVER be taken seriously” given his past voting record.
“A reminder that @ClayTravis should NEVER be taken seriously. Clay has only voted for a Republican once is the last 6 elections and supports Ron DeSantis for President. He’s currently pivoting to save face for his viewers,” Loomer fumed on X, adding:
Clay Travis also worked on the Al Gore campaign in 2000.

While Loomer is very much a fringe figure in American politics, she is a popular force among the MAGA base and has the ear of Trump – who regularly shares her screeds on his social media platform.
Travis is also a rising star in MAGA world with his radio show and regular appearances on Fox News. Travis sold Outkick, the sports website he founded, to the Fox Corporation in 2021. Loomer shared a 2017 tweet from Travis as part of her attack on him that read, “A closet liberal in what way? I voted for Gore, Kerry, Obama, Obama, and Gary Johnson in past 5 elections. I say this regularly in public.”
Trump praised Loomer during his Iowa caucus acceptance speech this week, calling her “a very important person” and “fantastic.” Trump met with Loomer at his Bedminster country club over the summer and praised the work she does on his behalf and reportedly even tried to hire her earlier in the year. Loomer failed twice, even with Trump’s endorsement, as a candidate for Congress in Trump’s Palm Beach district and then a north central Florida district, and is close friends with MAGA influencers like Roger Stone.
