‘Joe Biden Smoked Donald Trump!’ Biden Campaign Hits Back at Newest Trump Claim He Can Prove His Election Lies

President Joe Biden’s campaign hit back at former President Donald Trump’s newest claim he can prove his election lies, pointing out “Joe Biden smoked Donald Trump by 7 million votes” in 2020.

During a podcast interview with Buck Sexton and Clay Travis this week, Trump recounted the rollercoaster ride of Election Night 2020, repeating debunked claims about the votes and promising he’d soon provide proof of the thing that did not happen according to the facts and his own government:

And I did a great job. And we got votes like nobody’s ever– No sitting president has ever gotten anywhere near that number of votes. And I felt I could go home and I would watch a fair election. And I went home and it looked really good.

And then around 10:00 in the evening, all of a sudden they started finding lots of ballots and start — things started changing. And then at 3:02 in the morning, things happened that were really, really bad.

So, you know, we did great against him. And I believe we won by a tremendous amount. And we have proof of it. And we’re releasing the proof and you’ll see the proof. It’ll come up a lot over the next period of a few months.

In a statement emailed to Mediaite Wednesday, Biden-Harris campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa reiterated Biden’s victory and slammed Trump for “lying” about it once again:

Joe Biden smoked Donald Trump by 7 million votes in 2020 and the former president continues to lie about it rather than admit he lost – like an adult. It would be sad, if it weren’t so dangerous. And earlier today, he again said he’d let the people who violently attacked police officers and tried to overturn the 2020 election out of prison if reelected. The dangerous and erratic ramblings of a loser who can’t admit defeat only underscore that Donald Trump is not fit to be president of the United States.
