Fox Host Straight-Up Asks Trump National Spox ‘Will There Be Any Revenge?’ On Prosecutors If Trump Wins
Fox News host Jesse Watters straight-up asked Trump Campaign National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt “Will there be any revenge” on prosecutors of what he called “hoaxes” if former President Donald Trump wins in November.
Wednesday featured the much-anticipated jury instructions in the Stormy Daniels hush money-election interference trial, after which the jury began deliberating the 34 felony counts against Trump.
Trump has consistently attacked the judge and prosecutors in the case and has also made “retribution” an explicit theme of his campaign.
On Wednesday night’s edition of Jesse Watters Primetime, Watters drew a laugh from Leavitt by bluntly asking if there will be “revenge” on those involved in the trial — and he got a lengthy affirmative response in return:
KAROLINE LEAVITT: And like I said, with every indictment, with every impeachment. Donald Trump has only grown stronger. And this game is not going to be any different.
JESSE WATTERS: He says that success is the best revenge, but let’s say he does win reelection this November.
Will there be any revenge directed at the people that put this hoax case together?
KAROLINE LEAVITT: Well, certainly people need to be held accountable for the crimes that have been committed over the last several years that we’ve seen them lie, we’ve seen them abuse our justice system.
We’ve seen Joe Biden target innocent Americans across this country, such as the protesters on January 6th, who’ve they’ve thrown in the gulag in Washington, D.C.
President Trump said he will pardon those protesters on day one of his presidency.
Yes, justice needs to be served for the good-hearted Americans across this country who want to see an equal application of the law. And this trial proves we don’t have that in America right now.
JESSE WATTERS: All right. Karoline Leavitt, thank you so much.
KAROLINE LEAVITT: Thank you, Jesse.
