Hasan Piker Bursts Out Laughing When Questioner Thanks Kamala Harris For Remembering the Israeli Hostages: ‘I Called It!’
Popular Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, who Newsweek recently dubbed the “Left’s Biggest Influencer,” burst out laughing at a question during a CNN town hall with Kamala Harris on Wednesday night about rising anti-Semitism in the U.S.
Piker, who has raised eyebrows recently for positive comments about Hezbollah, was joined by journalist Felix Biederman while he commented live during the town hall.
“I can’t wait for undecided questions, dude. I think they bring out truly some of the weirdest fucking people of all time. Like, actually, I’m quite undecided on Kamala Harris’s defense of Israel. I feel like she has not defended Israel hard enough. It’s like, how? How are you, this person? And how is this even, like confusing for you?” Piker said early on in the event.
As the camera panned over the “undecided voters” who would ask Harris questions, Piker noted a women wearing a yellow pin for the Israeli hostages and said, “Oh there you go, I called it! She’s got the IDF dog tag and the yellow ribbon. She’s going to stand up and be like. I feel like your loyalty to Israel is questioned. Yeah. How will you address campus anti-Semitism? Yeah. My favorite undecided voter.
“I want you to meet Beth Sandberg,” said Anderson Cooper later on, introducing the woman with the pin. “She’s a realtor. A mom of four from Belkin Wood, Pennsylvania. She’s a registered Democrat. Says she’s undecided because of concerns about antisemitism. Beth?”
Piker and Biederman then cheered as his prediction came true.
“Hi. Thank you for being here. Thank you. Thank you for remembering we need to bring the hostages home,” Sandberg began as the duo burst out laughing – Piker even doubled over.
“Of course, the rise of anti-Semitism and violence from the rise of anti-Semitism and violence from Semitism has risen greatly on college campuses,” Sandberg concluded as Piker exclaimed, “I called it. I fucking called it.”
“What more can you do? Like to kill the fucking anti-Zionist Jews on campus. Like what do you, what can you do more to combat antisemitism on college campuses?” Piker said as Harris answered.
Piker later shared an edited clip of his comments around Sandberg’s question, which ended with him ripping undecided voters.
“I am a single-issue voter. How will Kamala Harris combat antisemitism on college campuses? That’s my single issue. There are still students out there that learn that genocide is bad, for example. I don’t think that that’s appropriate. I think that sometimes genocide is good. Like, for example, if the victims of the genocide are barbaric rapist animal monsters like Arabs who have an antiquated ancient gene of anti-Semitism in their hearts, if you don’t teach it like that, then people are going to learn the wrong lessons. That’s my single issue,” Piker said sarcastically.
“I do like that she was more passionate about answering that. Then she was about fucking answering the other person. Who was like, When will you stop murdering children with American weapons? She was like, Yeah, it’s really bad. We’re beginning to think about the humanity of the situation,” he concluded.
