WATCH: Chris Christie Calls Trump a ‘Fool’ 5 Times in Scorching New Ad Targeting Ex-President’s Hezbollah Comments

A Chris Christie super PAC dropped a new ad on Monday, in which the former New Jersey Governor excoriated former President Donald Trump over his recent comments about Hezbollah.

As first reported by Politico Playbook, the 60-second spot — produced by Tell It Like It Is, the Christie-affiliated super PAC — features the former governor trashing Trump for calling Hezbollah “very smart,” during a speech last Wednesday in Florida.

In the ad titled “Fool,” which largely leans on comments the former governor made during an interview last week on CNN, Christie calls Trump a “fool” five different times in a 60-second span.

“He’s a fool,” Christie told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “Only a fool would make those kinds of comments. Only a fool would give comments that could give aid and comfort to Israel’s adversary.”

Politico reports that Tell It Like It Is has made a six-figure buy for the ad to start.
